Dixie Art Colony Lodge, Nobles Ferry, Deatsville Alabama

"Walk Where They Walked"

A closer look at the historic Nobles Ferry site.

The first in a series of events to be held at the historic Nobles Ferry site of the Dixie Art Art Colony took place on October 12, 2016. The casual and intimate gathering provided quests an opportunity to tour the Colony grounds and the main building constructed in 1937. Among the guests were the daughters of Dixie Art Colony artists Warree LeBron, Shiney Moon, and Jane Mertins Shank.
Thank you to DAC Foundation patrons and hosts Chrys and Robert Bowden.
