Highlights of this day-long event include the AGM, a luncheon with guest speaker, a guest lecturer in the afternoon, the President’s Awards, and a closing reception. NSAA Opens Its Doors for Doors Open 2016

For the first time, the NSAA will be a Doors Open venue on June 4th and 5th and will feature the launch of our newly-refreshed display windows! We are very excited to be inviting the public to visit our downstairs seminar room to learn about architects and local architecture!

What better way to raise our profile, create public awareness, and highlight our contribution to the unique identity of communities then by being a venue -- and for it to be successful, we need your help!

We are looking for members to:
  • Volunteer at the NSAA on June 4 and/or June 5 to greet and discuss architecture with the visiting public, and
  • Contribute items for display such as architectural models and/or construction system mock-ups. Please note that while the NSAA will take all reasonable steps to protect display items, it will not accept liability for any items damaged or lost.
For more information or to become involved, please contact Margo Dauphinee, Executive Director at mdauphinee@nsaa.ns.ca by May 20th, 2016.
