A new concert season for you to enjoy!

Birmingham Festival Choral Society has some choral treats for you to enjoy this season, starting with:

Mozart's Requiem and
Vaughan Williams' Mass in G minor
Saturday18th November.

Of particular interest is that the accompaniment we will be using for the Mozart Requiem was written by Czerny to be played by four hands on one piano. Our pianists on 18th November are Kevin Gill and Stephen Hargreaves.
'If you know Czerny's pianistic writing at all, it must be observed that his piano transcription is a masterpiece in its own right, totally replacing the orchestra and doing a fine job with it'. [Lance Hill, Editor, Classical Music Guide Forums]. Come and hear for yourself!
Our vocal soloists will be Olivia Thornber, Elise Fairley, Jack Dolan and Joseph Clayton from the Birmingham Conservatoire.
