Update from Thailand!

God is so amazing! Somehow our one year mark since we sold everything and moved to Thailand has come and gone! We just celebrated Dorothy Mae's 3rd birthday and 7 wonderful months with Frannie!

Language lessons are going really well! It's a long process learning a tonal language, but we are diligently working to learn so we can speak fluently.
In case you've missed it, over the last several weeks Chris has had the amazing opportunity to use the Gospel to "teach" English. Phd students from the university have flocked to the opportunity to practice English. (Check it out here or here.) Through our testimony and a simple gospel story, these students are hearing about Jesus for the first time. We have seen the amazing power of the Holy Spirit drawing them. Each week more students seem to join in! We are so excited to see how God builds relationships there, and how He will use it for His Kingdom.

We've also have been leading a couple, who reached out to us,  through the same discipleship method that we are using here. Four weeks in, they are empowered and propelled to share the gospel, and have begun to train others in this same process.

some of the moments...

from our highlight reel!

A missionary, who uses interpretive dance to covertly share the gospel in a nearby restricted nation, came to Khon Kaen and facilitated a full day workshop focusing on performing arts, complete with a performance at the end of the day. Our girls were so excited to get to take part in such a spectacular opportunity!
One of our favorite ways to enjoy family time is to go on walks around our village! We have a small playground, and tennis court where we play.
Here's a clip of worship at a local house church meeting!

Many of you already following know, we have seen 6 generations of discipleship and house church formation in the last month. Things are beginning to gain momentum, and we are seeing more people come to Jesus now than ever. Blog post coming soon with more details!
