Planting your abundant life seeds

Dear <<First Name>>,

This month I also decided to wait and write my May newsletter until I had attended another event, this time I went to Sydney for 4 days to participate again in one of the PSYCH-K® workshops. The photo above is of the wonderful instructor Ian Spicer, and what became affectionately known as "The Canberra Crew", myself and my 2 gorgeous friends Josie and Meg. We had an absolute ball the whole time, and have come home feeling very grateful to have found my tribe.

I had set an intention before going to learn more about abundance and my relationship to it in all aspects of my life. What transpired was meeting a wonderful man from Singapore called Chuan who was very knowledgeable on this very topic and he introduced us to the work of a Buddist monk Gesha Michael "The Diamond Cutter" and his teachings on the 4 steps to make a karmic seed more powerful. I really recommend taking the time to watch this video and invite you to join me and try it for a month and see how you go. It aligns very well with the power of intention, and when coupled with creating self-affirming and self-empowering beliefs that support where you want to be in life, the seeds you are sowing for yourself will start to grow and blossom.

A couple of additional tips for step 4:
  • make the vision of how you have helped others as expansive as possible, for instance by donating to a child in a third world country I saved their life, and supported their education, which lead to them becoming a leading change agent in the world who went on to save thousands of lives
  • if you are wanting to create money for example, write in a book a list of all the people you have helped with money (you don't need to list the amount) and meditate on the list to continue to "water" your seeds.

Diamond Belief Statements for May
For those of you who have completed PSYCH-K® training I had the idea to add a segment on diamond belief statements that I have balanced for myself this month, and if they resonate with you go ahead and balance for them for yourself! If you haven't completed PSYCH-K® training but you still love the idea of these belief statements being 100% true for you then just let me know, I can easily facilitate that for you.

Paleo Lemon Tart

AUTHOR: The Merrymaker Sisters

For the crust
 
2 cups almond meal
1 cup cassava (or tapioca)
1/4 cup butter melted (or coconut oil)
2 eggs
2 tbs. rice malt syrup (or preferred natural sweetener like honey/maple)
Pinch of salt

For the filling
 
3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup coconut milk (canned)
4 large eggs
Zest of 1 lemon (we put zest of 2, because we like it super tangy!)
2 tbs. rice malt syrup (or preferred natural sweetener)
1 tsp. 100% vanilla extract

Now what
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 27 cm (10.5 inch) tart tin/dish.
  2. Start with the base. Whisk the eggs, butter and rice malt syrup together.
  3. Add the almond meal, cassava flour and salt.
  4. Mix together until a dough forms, you might need to get your hands dirty!
  5. Roll out the dough between 2 sheets of baking paper to about 1/2 cm (1/4 inch) thick).
  6. Lift the top piece of baking paper off and carefully flip the crust over the tart tin. Pull the other layer of baking paper off.
  7. Press the crust in to the tart tin, using excess crust to fill the edges. We always make the join where the side meets the base a little thicker, as this will make the crust stronger.
  8. Poke the base with a fork, this just makes sure it doesn't bubble up in the oven.
  9. Place in to the oven for 15 minutes.
  10. Meanwhile, let's make the filling!
  11. Whisk all the ingredients together until combined.
  12. Pour the filling in to the crust and place back in to the oven for 22-25 minutes.
  13. Allow to cool before slicing and serving with fresh pureed berries!
