Canberra Health Harmony Soul February 19-21

Dear <<First Name>>,

Welcome to all the lovely people that I spoke to at Canberra Health Harmony Soul last weekend. I have included above a photo of our booth for Vitality Health Centre, with my beautiful business colleague and friend Rosi Pletzer (right) and my lovely friend Julia (left) who won my free ticket to come along and enjoy. We had a great time meeting everyone and talking about what it is we love to do.

I had a few specials running over the weekend. The first was to join my mailing list and like my Facebook page to win a free "Breakthrough session". Congratulations to Belinda!

I was also offering 50% off Breakthrough sessions, so if you signed up for my newsletter and are still interested in having a private session with me, call before the end of February to make an appointment and mention the Health Harmony Soul offer.

For those of you who expressed interest in learning PSYCH-K® for yourself, Rosi will be in contact - the next workshop in Canberra is on March 19-20, hope to see you there! See her website for more details.

After completing a Basic PSYCH-K® workshop you are welcome to join our Practice Communities that we run once a month, the next one scheduled for this Sunday February 28, where we meet up, practice skills, ask questions and build your self-empowering beliefs to achieve what you want in life.

Love and light,

Within an atmosphere of growth

I've been reading "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin and she describes that a fundamental part of happiness is having an atmosphere of growth. Personally I love growth, I enjoy consistently challenging myself in many aspects of my life, and it got me thinking about what the atmosphere was like.

Everyone has different relationships to growth, and it varies depending on how challenging it is, but I'm curious and interested about the characteristics of the atmosphere. Do you go through it kicking and screaming, do you avoid it at all costs, do you close your eyes and hope for the best, are you patient, is there a flow, do you savour and take pleasure in the gradual progress made towards a goal as it unfolds?

I invite you to bring some awareness to how you "do" growth, and whether it brings you happiness. Could you improve your growth atmosphere?
Create your shining year workbooks
Towards the end of last year I was thinking about how I wanted to approach planning an awesome 2016 in both my personal life and my business and I found these amazing Create your shining year in life and biz workbooks by Leonie Lawson. And as it so happens she lives around the corner from me!

I am loving working with them and invite you to have a look. It's not too late to start in February either, it's only the beginning of the year!

One of the things I'd like to share which came from this are some of My Mottos for 2016 that represent what I am trying to cultivate this year. They came from a variety of places, some big, some small, of course they feature my current favourite word "awesome", perhaps they might give you some ideas for your own.
  • She believed she could so she did
  • I am awesome
  • I am totally open to awesome things coming my way
  • There are no limits, only possibilities and opportunities
  • I am capable of anything
  • The 1 minute rule - if it will take less than 1 minute do it now
  • Most decisions do not require extensive research.

Awesome Recipes

By Miranda Kerr (see
Coconut Walnut Bars with Chocolate Glaze

We all love sweet treats and this recipe is not only delicious it is made with nutritious, healthy ingredients making it a guilt-free pleasure. This is sure to become a family favorite!

Use certified organic ingredients whenever possible.

2 1/2 Cups walnuts (coarsely ground)
2 1/2 Cups un-sweetened dried coconut (coarsely ground)
1/2 Cup *honey or agave
1/4 Cup coconut oil (run container under warm water to melt coconut oil a little)
1/2 Teaspoon sea salt
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup toasted un-sweetened coconut (for topping)
1/4 Cup toasted walnuts (for topping)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large mixing bowl or electric mixer combine all ingredients together well. Spray a rectangle baking pan (you can also use a round pie dish or several individual little baking dishes) with organic-non stick spray and evenly press the mixture into the pan.
3. Bake in the over for about 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown and you start to smell toasted coconut. Be careful not to burn. You may need to cover the pan with foil for the last few minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool. 4. When the bar is cool you can spread the warm Chocolate Glaze all over the top of the bar.
5. Sprinkle with toasted coconut and toasted walnuts. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate or serve immediately while the glaze is still warm. As a special dessert top the bar with your favorite frozen treat (like ice cream or rice dream) and a little of the chocolate glaze that has been warmed up and a few toasted walnuts and toasted coconut.

Chocolate Glaze:

This chocolate glaze/sauce is so good that you will probably want to double the recipe. It’s great to dip fruit into and also makes a really nice warm topping for frozen treats.

1 Cup un-sweetened coco powder
1/2 cup honey
1/4 Cup coconut oil
2 Tablespoons un-sweetened coconut milk

1. Put the honey, coconut oil, and coconut milk in a medium size pan on medium heat and cook continually stirring until it is melted and very warm, but not boiling.
2. Remove from heat and whisk in the coco powder and continue stirring until the mixture is well combined and silky smooth.
