Advisory board member Aida Greenbury will speak about the Circular Bioeconomy and climate change at the Fiber Value Chain Conference 2019, hosted by the Australasian Pulp and Paper Technical Association in Melbourne, Australia on 10 – 12 December. Read more about the event here >>
 

Advisory Board members Teresa Presas and Jukka Kantola will be in Brussels to meet major stakeholders of the circular bioeconomy on November 12-13 including EU Parliament, FTP, CEPI, BBIs, and EU-Commission.
Jukka Kantola will be a panellist at the Forests - Climate change, Sustainability and Bioeconomy Conference in Bucharest November 27. Romania is getting more and more of a foothold in the bioeconomy with its vast forest resources. The seminar is organised by the Embassy of Finland in Bucharest in collaboration with Romsilva, forest company Tornator and the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Waters of Romania.

Jukka Kantola to speak at the OECD BNCT meeting on December 2 about the World Bioeconomy Forum and Sustainability. Discussions will involve combined efforts on finding tools to measure sustainability in effective and transparent ways.

  • Creating bio products from renewable raw materials previously derived from fossil fuels
  • Creating products from former waste streams 
  • Unique ways of recycling and reusing raw materials 
  • Production processes, innovations and methods that save on the use of natural resources, including raw materials, energy and water.
