NSI Kids (Numurkah Singers Inc. Kids) gives their school-aged company members the chance to have lead roles, something that often can’t happen during the major musical earlier in the year. It also gives younger children a chance to experience the thrill of being part of a musical production.
This is the second year they have had an NSI Kids production, where the show is learnt over 8 days of the mid-year school holidays – and cast members are all school students, with the minimum age of 7.
Jane Willis was director and Megan Scott was choreographer. Both ladies were impressed with the work ethics of the children and were really pleased with the final result.
