Opportunity: Personalized Learning Partnership
Ed Direction is excited to partner with Summit Learning, a non-profit organization supported by Facebook’s education partnership division. This free program—which includes a curriculum, assessments, and implementation support—helps schools with grades 6-12 bring personalized learning into their classrooms. What’s even more exciting than the opportunity to work with an organization that has seen some impressive gains from their work (this report gives a great snapshot of the results schools are seeing) is the fact that Summit Learning’s instructional philosophy aligns closely with the Evidence-Based Instructional Strategies Ed Direction helps schools all over the country implement with fidelity. In addition, Summit Learning’s focus on data use and collaboration make this a partnership made in heaven! We feel strongly that Summit’s tools will provide additional support to schools working hard to customize instruction to meet students’ needs.
