Third round ESIPP training sessions delivered in Croatia and FYR of Macedonia

In February 2017, around 50 parents attended the third training sessions delivered in Zagreb and in Skopje. ESIPP trainers delivered the six modules of the ESIPP Parent Education Programme (PEP), aiming at developing and disseminating a programme of training for parents of children with autism living in South-eastern Europe.

25th anniversary of ESIPP partner Autism Concern

This year, ESIPP partner Autism Concern celebrates its 25th anniversary. 
This charity plays a key role on the ESIPP project by providing parental and organizational support. On the framework of the project, Autism Concern is represented by its Managing Director Julia Hardcastle, mother of two autistic children.

2 April is fast approaching!

As part of a long-running awareness campaign to be launched on World Autism Awareness Day in 2017, ESIPP partner Autism-Europe will be focusing on the theme "Break barriers together for autism. Let's build an accessible society".

Jasmina Troshanska addresses on TV the importance of “parents’ positive approaches to autism”

In February 2017, Dr. Jasmina Troshanska, ESIPP partner and Vice-President of the Macedonian Scientific Society, was invited to participate on the live TV show “Hello Macedonia” on Kanal 5, to answer some of the most frequently asked questions about autism. She also invited parents of children and young people on the autism spectrum to attend the third round of parent training sessions between the 22 and the 26 February in Skopje.

ESIPP project next steps

The project’s first multiplier event will be held on 13 March 2017 in Croatia, hosted by the Centar za Autizam. The following days, ESIPP partners will have the opportunity to hold the 5th transnational meeting in Zagreb.
