Highways.Today Newsletter

8 April 2021

Welcome to another Highways.Today newsletter.

This week John Deere held a big press event, showing off their latest equipment and innovations. A major change Deere is rolling out is the rebranding of their machinery to grade them by performance for easier customer recognition.

They also announced they are rolling out new equipment with SmartGrade technology integrated. This will also be available in their compact skid-steer equipment as well.

It really is amazing how these technologies are transforming the job-site, reducing the amount of equipment needed, eliminating costly errors, and allowing operators to work to grade in the dark, or in mud or water.

Deere's new Motor Grader now features sensors to protect the blade, moving it out of the way of obstacles and preventing it from coming into contact with the machine itself.

Thanks again and stay safe.
