Introducing our new Managing Director
DNA Economics is pleased to announce the appointment of Yash Ramkolowan as Managing Director as of 1 March 2022

Yash’s career at DNA Economics began in 2009 and he has worked in multiple roles and sectors, most recently as the head of the company’s Trade and Regional Integration Practice.  He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2020 and has played a critical role in reviewing and revamping DNA’s internal controls and systems.   Looking forward, Yash will be charged with implementing the company’s ambitious growth strategy while maintaining the high quality of economic, development, and evaluation expertise and services that makes DNA different
Dr Matthew Stern, the founder and past Managing Director of DNA Economics, will remain on the Board of Directors and continue to play a significant role in growing the business and team.  Matthew has taken over the leadership of DNA’s Trade and Regional Integration Practice and is responsible for the operation of the company’s Donor Management Unit.   He will now also be able to spend more time in the field doing economic and policy analysis

We would like to express our gratitude to Matthew for making DNA happen and for his leadership over many years, and to congratulate Yash on his appointment
