Join us in supporting Syrian refugees
The social action committee is forming a subcommittee to support Syrian refugees. One aspect of this work will be to support the non-governmental Israeli group IsraAid and the Berlin Jewish community in their work with Syrian refugees in Germany. Caring Community Volunteers available
The Social Action Committee has a volunteer database of over 50 people waiting to provide a helping hand to UVJC community members in need. Volunteers are able to help in many ways such as delivering a meal, grocery shopping, light house repairs, or visiting someone who is housebound.

E.M. Rose's engaging book delves into the story of William's murder and the notorious trial that followed to uncover the origin of the ritual murder accusation - known as the "blood libel" - in western Europe in the Middle Ages.
