This Sunday, October 15, Hebrew School will be dismissed early at 11:30, followed by art, pizza, and sukkah decorating from 11:30 to 1pm. Then, join us on Tuesday, October 18, for an evening family Sukkot Celebration (more details to follow).
HIGH HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE
The High Holiday Food drive will benefit the Mascoma Food Pantry and the Claremont Soup Kitchen. Please help our neighbors in the Upper Valley keep food on their tables this winter. Items especially needed include:
Canned /or Shelf stable milk (1 quart boxes)
Canned vegetables (corn, spinach, mix vegetables, carrots, stewed tomatoes, beets)
Canned Fruit – all kinds and sizes
Cereal Chunky Peanut butter
Stuffing mix Chef Boyardee cans – all kinds
Toilet paper Laundry soap
Dish soap Shampoo
Please bring a bag of non-perishable groceries to the Roth Center at your earliest opportunity. The Food Drive ends on October 30.

The Social Action Committee has a volunteer database of over 50 people waiting to provide a helping hand to UVJC community members in need. Volunteers are able to help in many ways such as delivering a meal, grocery shopping, light house repairs, or visiting someone who is housebound.
