Pacific Crest Savings Bank Quarterly Newsletter
Fall 2016
Whether you're huddled around the television watching football (Go Hawks!), taking a brisk walk in the October breeze or getting ready to feast on turkey and stuffing, it's clear that autumn has arrived.
October is National Cybersecurity Month and with the holiday shopping season just around the corner, it's important to make sure that you're using the proper safeguards as you shop online or in stores. As proud members of the American Banking Association (ABA), we want to share some of their tips on how you can stay safe and secure through the season and beyond.
ABA recommends that you keep your computers and mobile devices up to date. Having the latest security software, web browser and operating system is the best defense against online threats like viruses and malware. In addition, set strong passwords and change them on a regular basis to avoid security breaches that can leave a lasting impact across many of your secure logins.

Raising Donations for Clothes for Kids
We're pleased to announce that, not only did we reach our financial goals, but we were able to raise more than double our target amount in donations for the Clothes for Kids organization!
Kevin, Wayne and Scott of our executive team threw the team a congratulatory breakfast for reaching our goals. Thank you to all who helped make this a great success.

A Note from Our President
What does it mean to be a community bank? For us, it means ensuring personalized service, providing financing unique to our local market and building relationships with our clients. We firmly believe that it also means doing something that has a deeper and further reaching impact: serving the communities that we live in.
We recently had the opportunity to host a clothing and fundraising drive for Clothes for Kids, a great charity helping children right here in Snohomish County. I personally enjoyed seeing our team and our community so motivated to give back to our neighbors in need.
As the days get shorter and the nights get colder, we encourage you to donate to your favorite charity this fall. It's the season of giving and it's also a time when those in our community are most vulnerable.
When we all do our part, we can make a difference.
Sincerely,
Sheryl Nilson
President and CEO, Pacific Crest Savings Bank
