Nitin Nitin wins first Barret Fellowship


The Associate Professor is the first holder of the Diane M. Barrett Fruit and Vegetable Faculty Fellowship. Read more.
 

Diane Barrett wins Outstanding Research DSA Award

The retiring professor has won yet another award, this time for outstanding research. Read more.
FST faculty and staff's latest honors and awards:
Professor Glenn Young was awarded the prestigious Medal of Honor by the government of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Read more.

Lab Teaching Manager Mike Clegg was awarded a UC Davis Staff Assembly’s Citation of Excellence for the Individual Teaching Award category.  Mike received a cash prize as a gesture of appreciation for his contributions to the campus community.

Assistant Professor Ned Spang recently received the American Water Works Association (AWWA) 2016 Division Best Paper Award for our paper, “Consumption-Based Fixed Rates:  Harmonizing Water Conservation and Revenue Stability”.

Assistant Professor Ameer Taha received the Fatty Acids and Cell signaling Award of Merit in October of 2015. The award was in recognition of “Novel contributions to the field via the publication of significant high impact papers”.

Ben Golomb wins the Max Kleiber Graduate Research Award

This member of Marcol lab won the Graduate Research Prize for his PhD thesis. Ben's thesis research papers was just published in Nature Scientific Reports. Read it here.
