Lynne Guey (B.S. '11) is a writer living in New York City. After graduating from UF's broadcast journalism program, she briefly reported for ABC News and Business Insider before working for four years in NYC local government. Currently, she is Head of Communications at LOOMIA, an e-textiles company innovating at the intersection of blockchain and wearable tech. On the side, she is co-host of Rock the Boat, a podcast about Asian Americans in unconventional career paths, and the Associate Board co-chair of Apex for Youth, a youth mentoring non-profit based in Chinatown. She sporadically updates her blog
and practices/teaches yoga regularly to stay sane.
