I wish to draw your attention to a fully-funded program for youth up to Grade 12. The program is to enhance coding skills for youth and has it roots in STEM subjects.
Please pan this out through community letters and blogs.
This is intended for parents with school-going kids.
• Called CodingVille, is a skills development platform fully funded the by federal / provincial government to all youth in Canada.
• Students can progressively develop their coding skills through three Journeys, with each Journey delivering 10-15 hours of game-based coding learning, and each Journey is progressively more challenging as students expand their knowledge.
• Codingville is a skills development platform fully funded the by federal/provincial government to all youth in Canada. Students who complete Codingville will have marketable skills
• These seats are fully funded now by the federal government and will expire at the end of March 2021
How to enroll –
It’s easy as 1, 2, 3 -- Students simply go to: www.codingville.ca -- takes 30 seconds or less to sign up, and off they go – completing journeys and then using their skills to develop a game/app through Crack the Code national competition (for ages 6-18), with prizes awarded to top leaderboard players.
