Public Comment - Noise Ordinance

The Town Council wants to hear from you! The Town Council is considering a new noise ordinance in order for the Town to be able to respond to noise complaints consistently and defensibly. A proposed Noise Ordinance (2022-O-5) was brought before the Town Council on July 13, 2022. After some discussion, the Town Council decided to defer taking action on this proposal until they are able to hear more from the general public who might be most affected by these changes. Please review the draft ordinance and share your thoughts with the council.
A Public Comment Period on this topic will be held on Wednesday, August 10 at 4:05 PM during the monthly Town Council meeting.
If you are interested in watching or making a comment at the meeting, please follow the instructions on our website. Please register for the Zoom webinar and email to register to make a comment; you may also raise your hand in the Zoom application.  Please note that each person will only be able to speak once for up to 3 minutes. Contact with questions.

If you prefer to provide public comment in writing, you can submit written comments (under 300 words) by email to before 3:00 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 and they will be read in full by Jen Clancy during the public comment period of the meeting.
Please refer to our website for the most up-to-date information.
