Head Boy - Oliver Duke
Oliver has been at HHS for the past 4 years. He plays badminton, has an interest in magic and is known for his interest in fashion. As his last year of high school approached Oliver saw becoming Head Boy as a way to make an impact on the school, to make a difference. This year Oliver plans to bring more of an understanding of the core values of HHS. He believes that it is easy to forget that these core values were voted on by the school to represent what HHS should stand for and Oliver would like to remind the student body of this. Oliver believes the culture at HHS is much more "chillaxed" than other schools and gives you every opportunity to express every aspect of yourself.
Head Girl - Shivali Harman
Throughout her time at school Shivali has been interested in dance. In high school she has been involved with different groups that enable her to be involved with the wider school community. Shivali stood for election because she wanted to help to continue to grow an environment where students are involved and feel comfortable pushing their own boundaries, because she believes that giving things a go is key to discovering who you are as well as making important connections with people. As Head Students both Shivali and Oliver plan this year to make sure student involvement is at a high, and that they help to continue to ensure that everyone feels safe, comfortable and included. Shivali likes the inclusive and friendly culture of HHS and thinks that it is great to be part of a school where individuality is encouraged, diversity is everywhere and to have support systems in place to make sure that all students have access to a fuller, richer experience.
