Dear <<First Name>>,

I've been speaking with a lot of you who are travelling or planning to travel this summer, and speaking to others who are staying here in London and enjoying every moment of sunshine. Wherever you find yourself, we pray that you'll discover the presence of God in ways that give rest to your bones and rejuvenation to your soul.

Whenever you are here in London, your AIC family is here to help you prioritise connecting with God and loved ones.

This Sunday, we will worship through Scott's compositions of "Jazz Psalms." Not only will the words of these ancient biblical songs carry our prayers, but the Spirit's movement through music will speak to our souls.

In the coming weeks, you'll see that we have other opportunities to fellowship and serve as we join in the Pride celebrations this Saturday and picnic together after church on 17 July and 21 August. See the details below and join us in a little or a lot!

Singing our Faith

For the summer of 2022, our ministry team wants to build a sermon series around favourite hymns and songs from our congregation. Tell us the music that moves your heart and your spirit so we can share it together as a congregation!

We will also use the list to choose music for worship in the coming months, and we hope it helps us expand our repertoire and learn new hymns and songs together. Click the button below.
Tell Us Your Favourite Hymns and Songs!
After the Pride Parade, join a group from AIC at the annual ecumenical London Pride Service!
In the month of July we are studying a series entitled, The Afterlife: Scripture and Tradition. Newcomers are always welcome to join us for open, expansive conversation on the ancient scriptures and what they mean for our faith today.

We recently submitted application to Camden Giving's Equality Fund which would help us to sustain and grow our refugee ministries, and we are excited to announce that it has been successful! The grant is for £30,000 over two years, which could potentially allow us to fund a part-time project worker role to manage the day-to-day support needs, freeing Jonathan to do more strategic and relational work. The process involved long conversations with members of the church; completing an expression of interest form; and then being invited to complete a full application.

Be on the lookout for more information as the work develops, and get in touch with Jonathan if you'd like to learn more!
Hosting Ukrainian Refugees
Working alongside local councils and the government's Homes for Ukraine scheme, we will be providing wrap-around support for Ukrainians who are arriving as well as supporting those who will be hosting them.
  • If you have a spare room/property that you could offer for at least six months, we can help with furnishing and  wraparound support.
  • If you know of Ukrainian nationals looking to come to London, we can match you with members of the congregation and the local area already looking to host.
  • Look out for ways to be involved in the coming weeks and months as this will be an ongoing response, long after the war has left the headlines
