Dear <<First Name>>,
One of Paul's most important arguments in all of his letters is that in Christian community, there are no insiders and outsiders, strangers and friends, members and others, citizens and aliens. Bound by the love of Christ, all are part of one household of God.
It is easy to say that Christ's love has given us the gift of peace and unity--it's much harder to live into that promise. How do we create a Christian community where everyone feels welcome? How do we welcome strangers and turn them into friends? How do we cross the many boundaries of identity and background that divide us, so we can be one Christian family?
These questions are not just theoretical here at AIC, where we bring together Christians from all over the world and all walks of life. On Sunday, we'll talk about how we live into that image of unity in Christ, in real and practical ways for our family of faith in London.
