Dear <<First Name>>,

In many ways, this pandemic year has made us feel cut off from the world--isolated in our homes, unable to see family and friends, barred from international travel.

In other ways, it has reminded us how connected we are to the world. A tiny virus does not respect national borders or languages or wealth, and requires all of us to act together to stop it. The shift to online gatherings (whether work or church) allows people from many countries to attend. Calls and conversations become more valuable than ever. Even our walks in the park remind us how connected we are to plants and trees in the natural world.

This week, we'll read the prayer that Jesus offered before his death: "that they may all be one." As we slowly return to our beloved people and activities, how can we maintain this sense of connection? God has created the earth and all its people and creatures to be interconnected. How can we live as one?

Pastor Jennifer

In-Person Worship

The guidance for Places of Worship requires similar practices to those we implemented in  the autumn. Pre-registration, social distancing and masks will be required, and there will be no singing, apart from a soloist, and no socialising indoors.

We look forward to welcoming those who are ready back into worship in the sanctuary! Sign up below.

We have not yet neared our limit, and you can sign up as late as 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. We do accept walk-ins as space allows, with paper registration forms available at the door.

Worship Online

Sunday Worship will continue to premiere on YouTube and Facebook at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, and be available anytime after.

Don't miss last Sunday's service below with a message from Pastor Jennifer on friendship, and music from Joanna Davies.

Even as we return to worship in the sanctuary, we plan to maintain this service in its current format through June.
Come feel the wind of the Holy Spirit and hear the voice of God through some of AIC's youngest members!

On Pentecost Sunday our youth will lead us in worship through a service that they have crafted. Please support our youth by joining us in person if you're able to do so safely, or by tuning in on our YouTube channel.

Our youth will be planning the service by Zoom on 9 May and we need all our students to participate! Please contact Jared for the Zoom details.
