THIS WEEK AT AIC
View this email in your browser
Dear <<First Name>>,

This week is Palm Sunday and the start of Holy Week, and next week is already Easter.

Again this year, we will sadly not be able to gather in person. (We had hoped for an outdoor service, but the guidelines do not allow us to gather in a meaningful way.)  It is yet another small disappointment in this year of such loss and heartache.

The story of Holy Week is a roller coaster, from the hosannas of Palm Sunday to the intimacy of Maundy Thursday to the betrayal in the Garden to the suffering of Good Friday to the triumph and new life of Easter.

In this roller coaster of a year, walking these final days with Jesus reminds me that there is no height of joy or depth of despair that we can reach that Jesus has not already been, seen, redeemed.

Praise God, nothing can stop Easter from coming, right where we are.

You'll see below that we have several ways for you to participate in the story. Send us photos or videos like those above, for our Palm Parade. Join for a gathering with friends for Maundy Thursday. Bear witness to the cross on Good Friday. Practice resurrection and new life for Easter, right where you are.

And if you live in London--watch your post for something special for Easter, too.

Faithfully,
Pastor Jennifer

Palm Sunday Help Needed!

We'd like to create a "palm parade" for our online worship video for Palm Sunday. Can you send a short video (5-7 seconds) or photo of yourself and/or members of your household simply waving at the camera? It will give us all a chance to wave to one another, see some beloved faces, and spread some Palm Sunday joy. Send your videos to Jared (jared@amchurch.co.uk) by noon on Friday, March 26.
WORSHIP
Worship Online

Sunday Worship for Palm Sunday 21 March will premiere on YouTube and Facebook at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, and be available anytime after. Pastor Jennifer will introduce Holy Week by asking, "What day is it?" and Joanna Davies will bring the music.

Last Sunday's service below continued our Lenten series, with reflections from Tangy Morgan, Stephen Howard and Sedinam Nartey on gifts and generosity, and music from Jonathan Eyers.
