Dear <<First Name>>,
This week's favourite song is called Oceans (Where Feet May Fail). It's not one we sing regularly at AIC, but it's popular on Christian radio and beloved of several among our congregation.
The refrain says:
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Saviour
The song reminds us that God's limits are not our limits; what's possible with God goes far beyond what is possible for us alone.
We'll be talking about trusting God to take us beyond our own limitations, just like Jesus and Peter walking on water. Hope you can join us on Sunday, onsite or online.
Faithfully,
Pastor Jennifer

Worship Leaders
We are looking for members of the congregation to help in worship leadership, either by reading scripture or sharing the News of the Church and offering. Sharing these important roles helps make our worship more inclusive and diverse, and brings new ideas and perspectives. Don't worry: your ministry team will answer any questions and provide the details as long as you are willing to lead. Be in touch with Jared to sign up.

Unfortunately, the Creche will not be open during the month of August. Our regular childminders are unavailable due to the summer holidays, but we will be open again in September. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Children of all ages are always welcome to join us in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings.

Good News Story
We were delighted to walk into the office late last week to find 50 brand new Google Pixel smartphones, courtesy of Camden Giving!
After successfully applying for the Equality Fund grant, Jonathan received an email about an offer of phones for "disadvantaged communities over the age of 13" and immediately thought of our cold weather shelter and soup kitchen guests. He forwarded the information, and Alex Brown of the Soup Kitchen put in an application. The phones arrived just a short time later, and there is planning underway for how to get them to those who need them.
When living on the streets or in precarious accommodation, a phone is often a person's only permanent connection to friends and family, and it is a vital tool to stay updated and to begin the journey of getting back into a more stable condition. These phones will provide that lifeline to many.
Congratulations to Alex and The Soup Kitchen team for making a successful bid, and thank you to Camden Giving and Jonathan for making the connection possible.
