Dear <<First Name>>,

At the very moment I write this, the House of Commons is questioning the Chancellor about plans to secure jobs and the UK economy through the COVID winter ahead. Regardless of political persuasion, the economy is on everyone's mind.

So far in our series on uncertainty, we've talked about praying through our anxiety in Philippians, about building home and community right where you are with Jeremiah, and about following God's path instead of worrying, with words from Jesus. This week, we'll be talking about economics. Specifically, looking at God's economy and a reminder of our place in it.

Catch up below on the whole series, and join us on Sunday, in person or online, for the next part of the conversation.

As everything remains uncertain, your ministers are praying for all of you, and encourage you to reach out to us and to your church community for prayer.

Pastor Jennifer

Worship in the Sanctuary on Sundays: Book Your Pew!

We have again this week taken careful consideration of the new guidance and rising cases, and decided that we can still safely proceed with in-person worship. We remind you to consider your own personal risk assessment and use of public transport as you make the choice that is right for you. The decision to continue gathering will be reviewed weekly from this point forward.

We will be making some additional changes to our practices to add even more precautions in our time together, including encouraging mask-wearing outdoors  on the pavement.

Worship in this time of social distancing looks very different than the experience we left behind. Pre-registration is required, as there are a limited number of spaces available.

As of now, there is still plenty of room this Sunday. Online booking will remain open as long as spots are available, or until 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning. If you discover the form is closed, it means we have reached capacity. Please email, and we will be in touch if we have a cancellation and space becomes available.

Giving: Your generosity matters more than ever.

We know that many people are facing challenging financial circumstances. AIC is in a solid position to weather the loss of Latchcourt income, but we will be relying more than usual on gifts from the congregation to keep our ministries going, our staff supported and our income flowing. If you are in a position to do so, we would ask you to consider making a special gift to support the church at this time, or to pay your 2020 pledge now, rather than across the course of the year.

You may give via bank transfer with the following information:
Beneficiary: The American Church in London
Sort Code: 40-05-16
Account Number: 81651498
A note on technology:

Zoom is an online platform to host video chat. It is free to use, but may require you to download an app to your phone, tablet or laptop.

Facebook will also host all our videos, including worship, Pause for Prayer and children’s messages. You do not need to have a Facebook account to view them, only to comment or engage.

AIC now has a YouTube channel. Subscribe or visit anytime for the latest worship services, pause for prayer moments, children’s messages and more.
