Dear <<First Name>>,

Whenever discussion arises about favourite hymns and worship songs, "Amazing Grace" always features prominently in the conversation. It's a perfect launch for our summer series based on your submissions , and you won't be surprised to learned it was offered as a personal favourite of more than one person.

What is it about this song that speaks to so many hearts? It is sung across continents and cultures, in formal liturgies and charismatic praise and around campfires. What do the words and music express about our faith?

Well, it's grace, obviously. The reminder that God loves and forgives us, not just once but many times, even when we do not deserve it. Every one of us needs that reminder again and again.

Join us on Sunday to sing and reflect together on this beloved hymn. And it's not too late to tell us your choices, so we can add them in! Just follow this link or click the button below.

Tell Us Your Favourite Hymns and Songs!
Join us for fellowship after church this summer. Bring your own blanket and food, or pop into a shop on the way to Russell Square. Please be advised the weather will be hot, but Russell Square is a cool oasis of trees and there is even a water feature where you can take off your shoes and splash around.
Sunday Worship – 10 July
If you couldn't join us onsite, then catch up online.
Attend Onsite or Online
Onsite: COVID guidelines have been updated. Face coverings are strongly recommended in worship.
OnlineLivestreaming Sunday mornings at 11:00 GMT on our YouTube channel. A link will also be posted to our Facebook page.
Summer Choir
During July, we will have a summer choir that rehearses at 10:15 on Sunday mornings to sing during the 11:00 service. It is open to newcomers and volunteers, whether you join for one Sunday or the whole month. Just show up, or sign up here.
Worship Leaders
We are looking for members of the congregation to help in worship leadership, either by reading scripture or sharing the News of the Church and offering. Sharing these important roles helps make our worship more inclusive and diverse, and brings new ideas and perspectives. Don't worry: your ministry team will answer any questions and provide the details as long as you are willing to lead. Be in touch with Jared to sign up.
In the month of July we are studying a series entitled, The Afterlife: Scripture and Tradition. Newcomers are always welcome to join us for open, expansive conversation on the ancient scriptures and what they mean for our faith today.

Good News Story
We were delighted to walk into the office late last week to find 50 brand new Google Pixel smartphones, courtesy of Camden Giving!

After successfully applying for the Equality Fund grant, Jonathan received an email about an offer of phones for "disadvantaged communities over the age of 13" and immediately thought of our cold weather shelter and soup kitchen guests. He forwarded the information, and Alex Brown of the Soup Kitchen put in an application. The phones arrived just a short time later, and there is planning underway for how to get them to those who need them.

When living on the streets or in precarious accommodation, a phone is often a person's only permanent connection to friends and family, and it is a vital tool to stay updated and to begin the journey of getting back into a more stable condition. These phones will provide that lifeline to many.

Congratulations to Alex and The Soup Kitchen team for making a successful bid, and thank you to Camden Giving and Jonathan for making the connection possible.
