Dear <<First Name>>,

Uncertainty remains the theme of our worship and our lives these days. I take great comfort spending time with these scriptures, which remind me that our ancestors in the faith have also lived through times of upheaval and distress, and that God was there. God is here now.

Last week, we talked about what to do when you can't make plans for the future, under guidance from Jeremiah. This Sunday, we'll here words from James and from Jesus himself about what to do with our anxiety and worry about tomorrow.

I know I am not alone in turning to faith more than ever before right now. I pray you can find ways to strengthen yours through our worship and ministries and community at AIC. Whether online or in-person, we hope you will join us in the coming week.

Worship in the Sanctuary on Sundays: Book Your Pew!

Even with the rule changes this week, our in-person worship can continue. We abide by best practices to be COVID-Secure, going above and beyond government guidelines to prioritise everyone's health and wellbeing.

Worship in this time of social distancing looks very different than the experience we left behind. Pre-registration is required, as there are a limited number of spaces available.

As of now, there is still plenty of room this Sunday. Online booking will remain open as long as spots are available, or until 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning. If you discover the form is closed, it means we have reached capacity. Please email, and we will be in touch if we have a cancellation and space becomes available.

Giving: Your generosity matters more than ever.

We know that many people are facing challenging financial circumstances. AIC is in a solid position to weather the loss of Latchcourt income, but we will be relying more than usual on gifts from the congregation to keep our ministries going, our staff supported and our income flowing. If you are in a position to do so, we would ask you to consider making a special gift to support the church at this time, or to pay your 2020 pledge now, rather than across the course of the year.

You may give via bank transfer with the following information:
Beneficiary: The American Church in London
Sort Code: 40-05-16
Account Number: 81651498
A note on technology:

Zoom is an online platform to host video chat. It is free to use, but may require you to download an app to your phone, tablet or laptop.

Facebook will also host all our videos, including worship, Pause for Prayer and children’s messages. You do not need to have a Facebook account to view them, only to comment or engage.

AIC now has a YouTube channel. Subscribe or visit anytime for the latest worship services, pause for prayer moments, children’s messages and more.
