Dear <<First Name>>,

The Gospel tells a strange story about Jesus and his disciples out on a boat in the Sea of Galilee. A storm arises, and they fear for their lives--all except Jesus, who sleeps soundly through the whole thing.

Metaphorically, this story rings true for many of us. When life gets stormy and we feel tempest-tossed and afraid, we wonder if God is asleep, not caring about our distress and concern.

The story concludes in dramatic fashion. Jesus wakes up and speaks into the winds and rains, demanding "Peace! Be still!" The disciples are amazed by his power.

How can we trust that God will speak to calm our storms? How can we have faith that God's power will see us through?

Whether you are in the midst of a storm now or have ever been, join us on Sunday to seek God's presence in all of it.

Pastor Jennifer

Gladys Ruiz spent the last five weeks on a study abroad program in London, and worshiped at AIC during that short time. She dedicated her final project to sharing the love and warm welcome she found here. What a wonderful testimony! Take a minute to watch, and share with a friend to invite them to church.

Pavement works have now started in earnest on Tottenham Court Road as a part of Camden's West End Project. Through access will be maintained during the works, but partial lane closures and periodic parking suspensions may be in effect. If you normally drive to the church, be prepared to factor this into your journey times. If you take the bus, check to make sure there are no diversions or changes.
