Mythical Millenial Conference

This month, we were in attendance at the Mythical Millennial Conference in Edinburgh. We were amazed with the talks and performances on stage from organisations like Balfour Beatty and Project Scotland, as well as special performances from Intercultural Youth Scotland. Did you know, that in 2020, 50% of the workforce will be made up of millennials?

The Recruit

The Recruit participants were challenged to create promotional videos for Greenpower F24 team Inver Racers, which would help them fundraise for the upcoming International Final at Silverstone. The winning team, Too Fast Too Furious, created a crisp and on message video which can be seen here!

DYW Sharing Day

The DYW Sharing Day was held at the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce with DYW regional groups from Ayrshire, Glasgow, Lanarkshire & East Dunbartonshire and Edinburgh, Midlothian & East Lothian.
The aim of the day was sharing best practice from different regional groups to improve our service and operations as much as possible!

Appeal for Business Advisers for Young Enterprise

Young Enterprise Renfrewshire (including East Ren & Inverclyde) are a group of volunteers that deliver the Company Programme - where senior phase pupils develop a product idea and take it to market. Our Director Bob is the Area Chair and is seeking volunteer Business Advisers that can commit to 1 hour every 1-2 weeks from Sep-March in a school - sharing your experience, be a sounding board and to encourage & support. If interested please email renfrewshire@yes.org.uk
