Young Women into STEM

On Wednesday 25 October, sixty S3 female pupils from across Renfrewshire took part in the Young Women into STEM Event at West College Scotland. Organised in partnership by Renfrewshire Council, West College Scotland and DYW West, the day consisted of practical workshops to provide the young women with the opportunity to try a number of different areas including joinery, bricklaying and painting and decorating. The pupils greatly enjoyed the day and were able to take home items that they had made on the day. Thank you to all those involved in making this day a tremendous success!

Congratulations to all of the teams on their great progress thus far – stay tuned on our social media for further updates!
