Happy hour for caregivers

Comedian J Smiles is not only hilarious, she also expertly weaves her own experiences as a caregiver into her act, making her the perfect host for HFC’s free event, Healthy Happy Hour.

We’ll provide the music, healthy snacks, and interactive laughs. All you have to do is set a reminder to join us on Friday, July 23rd at 5 pm PDT/ 8pm EDT.

Food For Thought

Can In-N-Out Do This?

Your burger may have perfect grill marks, but can it battle dementia? Chef Annie Fenn’s Turkey Parm Burger can, using brain-strengthening ingredients like walnuts (high in flavonoids) and zucchini (containing folates and other nutrients).

Think On It

Seth & Lauren Go
to Camp

We’re big fans of Lorenzo’s Camp, which provides a virtual community for children of a parent diagnosed with younger onset Alzheimer’s. Luckily, we were invited to be part of the conversation!

The Caregiver’s Guide to the Galaxy

We love Dr. Danny Potts’ book “A Pocket Guide for the Alzheimer’s Caregiver” - it’s no-nonsense and filled with useful information. That's why we chose it for our Summer Reading Series on July 19.

Us Against Alz

Our friends at Us Against Alzheimer's have created a nifty—and free—tool in the fight against Alzheimer's and other dementias: the BrainGuide. Take a confidential memory quiz and get a care plan tailored to the needs of you or your loved one.

We're Growing!

Give a big HFC welcome to Diana McHugh, the newest addition to our team. Diana will serve as the Senior Director of External Relations. With over a decade of experience in nonprofits and public health, we know she’ll help our organization continue to thrive. We're very excited, to say the least.

Brain & Life

Lauren and Seth recently spoke with Brain & Life magazine about HFC’s history and mission, and how together, they are bringing light to a very dark disease. It turns out laughter really is the best medicine when it comes to Alzheimer's.

in case you missed it

Gaming Against Alz

Seth had so much fun playing “Car Soccer” a.k.a. Rocket League with FaZe Clan’s Nate Hill, plus special guests Adin Ross, Mike Majlak, and SunlessKhan! Over 163K viewers tuned in to watch Seth lose disastrously while raising money to beat Alzheimer’s.

Over 3,000 of you showed up to join Lauren Miller Rogen, Maria Shriver and friends, plus their panel of experts (who are also now friends). If you missed it—or just want to relive the magic—we’ve got you covered.
