President's Welcome

Welcome to Spring! Such a nice feeling, although the evenings getting lighter mean my new regime of running, undercover of darkness is threatened! I can totally recommend the NHS's 'Couch 2 5k' app if you're interested in dipping your toe into the world of running.

This month's meeting will be in our new venue - the Riverside Room at the Angel Centre, which should be warm and plenty of parking, hurrah! We'll be doing some cupcake decorating and you'll need to remember to bring a rolling pin and chopping board. We'll be looking for ideas for the carnival too (WI flash mob anyone?!) so bring your thinking caps everyone....!

We're excited to welcome Christine Black, our adviser from the Kent West Kent Federation, to our meeting this month, as she will be explaining the committee election process that we will be going through in May.

Also, there is a spare ticket for our Federation's annual conference, more details below, so if you fancy a day out with yours truly in T Wells get in touch!
See you next week everyone!

Becky
