Funding

Applications for the Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund are open until 5 P.M. PST on March 8.


Deadline to apply for the February $2000 Amber Grant and be eligible to compete for the annual $25K award is Feb. 28th. Women owners of for-profit businesses in the US are eligible to apply. There is a nominal application fee.

PA's Next Generation Farmer Loan Program uses federal tax-exempt financing to reduce a farmer’s interest rate for capital purchases, such as direct purchase of farm and
agricultural machinery and equipment. (Find more finances info at https://www.troopstotractors.org/finances .)
   Next Gen Loan Uses:
   -Agricultural land
   -Agricultural improvements
   -Depreciable property
    Eligibility:
   -Permanent PA resident at least 18 at the time of the loan application
   -Must meet lender’s credit standards
   -Access to adequate working capital, farm equipment, etc.
   -Borrower must not have had any prior ownership of a substantial portion of land.
