The Blessings of Winter

Gratitude can be celebrated everyday, not just during the Thanksgiving holiday. Here are a few reasons winter is so special: Everyone is a little friendlier this time of year, friends, family and even strangers will meet you with a smile. Getting to make a warm crackling fire to make your home feel warm and cozy. For the love of layers! How great is it to be able to rock that fun scarf or fabulous jacket and favorite hat? Additionally, it's perfectly acceptable to drink hot cocoa everyday or enjoy delicious stew to your heart's content. On a deeper level, it's a great time to reflect and practice being grounded. The days are shorter, cold and wet, so spending time indoors is a great opportunity to learn meditation, read a great book, nurture an art project or get your home organized. It is also a beautiful luxury to witness the colors of a winter sunrise or look upon the naked trees as their leaves have blown away. Please enjoy your winter days and as well as this newsletter!
