New officers elected for 2020
The election of 2020 officers took place online and at our Nov 14th meeting. The new team has been working with the outgoing officers to prepare for the changeover on January 1st. Read more about the results.

Join us for our annual holiday lunch 
This year's holiday potluck, confab, and book exchange for chapter members will be held on Sat, Dec 14, 12 to 3 pm. We'll gather at the Markland Woods community room on Cedar Way in Mountlake Terrace, as we did last year. We'll each bring a dish for the potluck and a wrapped giveaway. If you plan to come, RSVP ASAP!!

Catherine Hendricks practiced law for 33 years, but she always intended to be a writer. She even has a pseudonym-in-waiting, an agent, and a book to sell. Flash fictions from paranormal to noir
Our annual flash fiction night in November again demonstrated the diversely talented writers in our chapter. Charlotte Stuart gave a presentation at Third Place Books/LFP on Nov 16th on the matrix she has developed to describe the different types of humorous mysteries. This shows a broad spectrum from “kooky” to “dark” and makes it clear that what one reader laughs at does not amuse another at all!  For additional member news, read more.
