At the City, we continue to follow guidance from our partners at Public Health – Seattle & King County (PHSKC), Washington State Department of Health (DOH), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding COVID-19. We’re working round-the-clock to ensure our communities and our workforce can stay safe and healthy.

Currently, the Seattle Department of Transportation is planning to continue with construction in your area. We are working closely with our Public Health — Seattle & King County partners, our construction management teams, and private contractors to ensure that everyone supporting this project is cautious and safe. If there are changes to the construction schedule or planned work, we will notify you once public information is available.

The City of Seattle and King County are taking steps to protect the health of our community by making recommendations that are meant to slow the spread of novel coronavirus and reduce the number of people infected. Please learn more about COVID-19 at

Thank you.

We will be working this Saturday, March 28, to continue sidewalk repairs on N 40th St. Working hours will be from 7 AM to 4 PM, with noisy work starting no earlier than 8 AM. Expect lane shifts and pedestrian detours.
