We've had some surprisingly warm days this week, but with the dark evenings, I am going to have to admit that autumn is well and truly here. I really must get on and get the Christmas baking done well in advance for time to mature.

Get prepared for Christmas! Make an incredible Christmas pudding; mincemeat for the best mincepies you’ve ever tasted and Slovenian Christmas buns.

It’s hard to beat home made Christmas pudding and once you’ve tasted home made mincemeat, you’ll never want to eat a shop bought mince pie again!

The course includes all ingredients, recipes and a bowl for your Christmas pudding. Choose from an weekday or weekend course. Classes are kept small for maximum enjoyment!

Classes last approximately 3 hours. Classes start at 1:30 pm.

World Bread Award Winners
World Bread Awards UK

Following on to my stint of judging the World Bread awards, it was back to London to discover the winners. Everything is judged anonymously so we had no idea beforehand.

It was lovely to see so many women taking top prizes including the amazing Tammy Isaacs Pierce from Karma Bread. Dominic Salter from Stroud won an award for his Khorason bread
