This Lent let us reflect deeply on the suffering of Our Lord and unite with His suffering since Our Lord has provided the opportunity to repent and carry your cross and follow Him. Being the apostle that Jesus loved He gave you, from the cross, His own mother to help you on the road of salvation, so consecrate yourself to Our Lady. It means that you are deliberately and intentionally gifting your whole life to her; all your thoughts, words, deeds, actions, omissions, possessions, accomplishments, whatever it might be through her so as to fulfil the purpose for which God created you.
Our Lord and Saviour desires that you to be happy, why? Because he wants His Mother to be happy and she is happy when her children are saved from sin and spared from death.
She wants us, for our own good, to pray and help all her children and none more than the most vulnerable; for Our Lord said “Do not stop them, for it is such as these little one that the kingdom of heaven is for”. And yet their earthly mothers and fathers are her children and need saving also. They need our help, our prayers and sacrifices too. And still the Mother of God asks us to help, pray, sacrifice and give alms for those embroiled in the provision of abortion since these misguided souls are her children too and they think it is good to kill unborn babies. Is there anything on earth that would make her happier than the rescuing of all Her children from sin and death? No, there is not!
Alas there is much to do, for today, in our society the blindness is almost complete, the lie is engrained and the Immaculate Heart of Mary is little known and yet insulted. We can remedy this with the Rosary and the 1st Saturday Devotions as requested by the Queen of Heaven. You could go a step further by joining us with your Rosary and good works as we process after Mass and as temples of the Blessed Sacrament with many angels and saints to the global headquarters of the most pervasive killing machine that the world has ever known,
