Eliminating Hepatitis C and HIV in Indian Country: A Focus on Urban Indian Health

The National Council of Urban Indian Health will provide a forum and a platform for the Urban Indian Health Programs across the United States to express their community’s circumstances, needs, perspective and interests before the Indian Health Service corresponding officials diligently working to support the Eliminating Hepatitis C and HIV in Indian Country Initiative.

This listening session will be an in-person and virtual platform for Urban Indian Organizations across the United States to express their community’s circumstances, needs, identify gaps and to share their perspective and interests before the Indian Health Service corresponding officials, who are diligently working to support the Eliminating Hepatitis C and HIV in Indian Country Initiative.        

What: Eliminating Hepatitis C and HIV in Indian Country: A Focus on Urban Indian Health Listening Session

Who: National Council of Urban Indian Health, Urban Indian Organizations, Indian Health Service

Where: In person at Kaiser Family Foundation, Barbara Jordan Conference Center, 1330 G St NW, Washington, D.C. 20005 and online.

When:  Tuesday, December 10, 2019, 2:30 – 4:00 pm EST

Why:  Now is the time to take action to eliminate Hepatitis C and HIV in Indian country.
