1st Birthday Party

For the first time since the fall of The Lion I feel it is time to awaken from a ridiculous textual slumber and bring my milkshake to the yard. ‘Tis I, the four eyed man off of the Hunningham Show that has now relocated and given birth to a new beastie, The Drawing Board. Under cover of day we plotted and gave birth to a wonderful new existence & now we celebrate our first birthday
(I know, right- we've lasted a whole year!)

For those of you not quite in the know, The DB is a rather lovely independent Free House on Newbold Street in Leamington. It was previously The Newbold Bar & Brasserie or The Regency Arms - Y’know, next to The Spa Centre.

Anyway now it's had a full refit of framed comic books, quirky tat & vintage annuals- all strangely familiar but slightly different too.
(So to recap- SAME, SAME, DIFFERENT!)

We are very much in the refreshment business; serving some rather exciting top end gourmet bar food but keeping our feet grounded in the fluffiest of Tapas & magical Spam fritters.
(NB-Spam Fritters may or may not be magic)

As you would expect we have over 40 single malts, 20 gins and an extensive wine list. Our beer selection ranges from Brewdog, Brooklyn & Vedett to the real German deal, direct from The Black Forest, Rothaus! We keep our British end up with some cracking cask ales & Scrumpy cider so we’re covering as many bases as we can & truly celebrating our independence. We’ve got a coffee machine as well- which is nice and as soon as I can find the 'on' switch….kidding…I found it.

We serve Breakfast on Saturday mornings & a rather good Roast beef & Yorkshire pud' on a Sunday.
Upstairs is available to hire out Monday to Thursday for private functions & meetings- not so much 18th Birthday parties! Whilst we don't really do buffets we can offer mixed tapas which works rather nicely!
So if you haven't visited The DB- there's absolutely no excuse now! Come and say hello, you might like it.* (*alternatively you might hate it and want to gouge your eyes out with spoons- but them's the breaks)

SITUATIONS VACANT:
As ever we are always on the look out for outgoing types to join The DB front of house team- we always have space for goodies.
