Other News & Further Reading
Members of TNA recently attended a presentation about potentially re-opening the Heathfield train line, using ultra light rail. This project is being managed by Lightweight Community Transport (LCT), a community benefit society.

This type of transport has the lowest carbon emissions per km of any powered transport, and would be convenient for many people in the area. Despite this, there are a number of challenges, and more support is needed for the project to really take off. For more details, please reply to this email.
Remember our friends over at Teign Energy Communities (TECs)? Well, you now have the opportunity to invest. Do you fit the profile of a TECs investor? Of course- the great thing about a community share offer is that it's open to everyone! TECs will be at the TAAG "Our Beautiful Planet" exhibition until the end of next week, and are also available to come along to your house or place of work to tell you more about the community share offer.

The first installation at Teign School will be happening in only a few days time, so there's every reason to invest! If you're interested, you can become a member and find more information on the TECs website.

Did you hear about the Rewilding talk with George Monbiot and Alan Featherstone? Well, if you missed out, you can read a summary and watch the presentation over at the People's Republic of South Devon (PRSD)!
