President's Message

NOVEMBER UPDATE

Dear Fellowship,

October is always a busy month.  For many of us, it is time for midterms and rounds of state testing.  Then, of course there is trick-or-treating and a plethora of corresponding events and rituals to celebrate autumn, to honor our deceased loved ones and ancestors, and to hunker down as the weather gets colder, the daylight diminishes, and the holidays come rushing at us.  This year was our successful second installment of UU-Tober-Fest.  There are so many people to thank, one note won't do it justice, but I will say that I personally appreciate everyone's effort and everyone's patience.  We are a group that works hard, celebrates hard, and loves hard.  We are a group of people often tired from all the work we do and all the passion we put into that work.  And, we continue to be a group that uplifts each other to make wonderful things happen.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  We have exciting programs coming, good food to share during celebrations, halls to deck, lots to learn with the kids in RE, and a few renovation projects to get underway.  Keep doing all the wonderful things you do!  See you at the fellowship house soon.

Take care,
Jacob.

Riddle and Mystery

The kids are upstairs doing more than just playing!  They are currently working on the Tapestry of Faith Curriculum "Riddle and Mystery" where they explore all of the big questions through the lens of Unitarian Universalism.
