Mayor's Message
Fall has arrived and so has hunting season.  Since the second wave of COVID-19 is also upon us, the Renfrew County and District Health Unit has released public guidelines on how to safely navigate COVID-19 during the hunting season.  These guidelines are available in the News section of the Health Unit’s web site.  Taking precautions before you go and while at your hunting site or hunt camp, can keep you from bringing home COVID along with your game.  Everyone please stay healthy and stay safe, and enjoy hunting season.
On October 8th, Zone 6 of the Association of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers presented CAO Sue Klatt with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of her contribution to Zone 6 and the advancement of the municipal profession.  Sue is a role model and mentor.  She is always ready to lend a hand to help others grow and succeed as municipal professionals.  On behalf of Council, I’d like to recognize Sue’s achievement and congratulate her for receiving this well-deserved acknowledgement of her many contributions to her peers and her profession.
Thank you,
Mayor Kim Love
Due to the second wave of COVID-19 we are taking extra precautions to keep staff and residents safe.  Please consider the alternative methods of payments we have in place,  pay online, pay at your financial agency or use the dropbox outside the Municipal Office.   If you require staff assistance in any department please call or email with your questions, ask to book an appointment, we are here to help, but would prefer to do it remotely.  We have the means of setting up a Zoom meeting if that will assist you with the information you require.  If you must attend the Municipal Office please follow the Public Health guidelines.
During the next few weeks  (hunting season) we have limited staff, please be patient and leave them a detailed message or send a detailed email with your inquiry, we will get back to you when we return to the office.

What do you think about living here?

The County of Renfrew would like to know and believes that info might be helpful as it plans future economic development activities.

The consulting firm, MDB Insight, will be assisting the County with doing the work and analyzing what it all means.

Residents should know they could be receiving a phone call about this survey anytime between Monday (October 19th) and Monday, November 9th.

It’s not a scam and not a telemarketer.

If you can give them ten minutes of your time to respond to the survey questions, your contribution will be quite helpful in assisting the County in making marketing decisions based on our local lifestyle.

The results will be tabulated in December.
