The Township of Madawaska Valley is proud to announce the opening of The Lakeshore Tennis Courts for public use. We wish to thank all of the community for being patient during the development and construction of the new tennis courts. Memberships can be purchased at the Township of Madawaska Valley office.

We would like to thank the Lakeshore Tennis Club and Co-Chairs Bev and John Moore for their efforts in fundraising for the courts and their strong commitment to growing tennis in the Madawaska Valley. Lakeshore Tennis Club has been a key contributor and supporter of the project’s success. We would like to thank all of the community and individual sponsors that have supported the new courts. Funding support was also acquired from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.

For information on programs, tournaments or upcoming events please contact Co-Chair Bev Moore of the Lakeshore Tennis Club at lakeshoretennisbb@gmail.com
Life is a series of watercolour paintings that study and celebrate Canada's distinct flora and fauna.  Loose and gestural, this body of work aims to capture the essence of each plant or animal as simply as possible.  These portraits focus on the individuality and beauty of each subject.

Recycling Changes
The Township of Madawaska Valley, in conjunction with Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery System (OVWRC), reviews and amends the recycling program to meet the demands of the recycling market. Due to these market changes, OVWRC has determined that Polystyrene (commonly referred to as Styrofoam™) and all Film Plastic (i.e. retail bags, bread bags, blue newspaper bags, outside milk bags, etc.) will be removed from the recycling program. These materials add significant costs to the recycling operations and end markets to receive this material are limited.
Plastic Bags, styrofoam WHITE ONLY (cups, plates, meat trays, rigid packaging) and paper coffee cups (lids removed) will not be accepted as recycling please sort as GARBAGE.

For More Information Contact The Railway Station at 613-756-5885.
