PLANNING ON BUILDING OR RENOVATING?
We all share an interest to ensure we live in a safe, clean and prosperous community.  One of the ways that we meet this goal is to ensure all habitable buildings in our community used for work, pleasure, recreation etc. are safe and well planned.  This is accomplished by enforcing building codes, official plans and zoning by-laws which ensures that builders (contractors and home owners) create and maintain safe buildings for today and into the future.
The building department has experienced an increased amount of activity, which is a positive note for the Township of Madawaska Valley area’s growth.  Before picking up a hammer consider making an appointment with the Chief Building Official and/or the Planning Department at 613-756-2747.
