Angels played an important role in the first Christmas. Angel Gabriel informed Mary that she would be the Mother of Jesus, an angel visited Joseph in a dream to tell him he would serve as Jesus’ foster father, and choirs of angels appeared in the sky over Bethlehem to announce to the world the birth of the Savior.

This Thursday, December 17th, at 7:00 PM in the church, all students in grades K-8 will present the Christmas Program, Story of Angels, written and directed by Ms. Kelleher.

All students should arrive at 6:30 PM. Parents should park their cars and walk their children to the student entrance of the school by the clinic. The children will gather in their classrooms while parents walk to church and find seating in preparation for a beautiful evening of traditional and modern Christmas Carols. To preserve a reverent atmosphere in the church, the Rosary will be prayed beginning at 6:40 PM for the intentions of our school families.

After the Christmas Program has ended, parents should walk to the school and pick up their children from their prospective classrooms. Please be mindful that the parking lot will be dark and caution and care for the safety of everyone is paramount. Students will not be dismissed until the Christmas Program is completely over.

Prayer to the Virgin of Guadalupe

Merciful Virgin Mary of Guadalupe, show clemency, love and compassion to those who love you and fly to your protection; may your intercession like the sweet fragrance of roses, ascend to your Divine Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, that he might hear our prayers, wipe away our tears, and give us comfort and assistance.
