BOTH CAMPUSES CELEBRATED OUR END OF THE YEAR TOGETHER WITH MASS AT
ST. TARCISSUS. HAVE A WONDERFUL AND SAFE SUMMER!
Dear Pope Francis Global Academy Families,
Yesterday marked the end of our school year and the culmination of a year full of engagement and important learning. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all members of the school community - our students, parents, pastors, faculty, staff, and Board of Specified Jurisdiction for your constant support as we complete another school year. We have had a wide range of remarkable and exciting events take place this last year, and I look forward to an even better year next year as your Head of School. Please clickHEREfor the official announcement from Dr. Rigg.
Please join me in congratulating the Pope Francis Global Academy Class of 2018! Last Friday, June 1st, forty-two young men and women graduated during a Commencement Mass at Our Lady of Victory Church. As we say goodbye to our graduates, please join me in wishing them good luck with their new adventure.
We are also saying goodbye to a few members of our faculty who are moving out of state, taking on new adventures, and moving on to new positions elsewhere; my very best wishes go with them as well as my sincere thanks for all of their hard work and efforts.
As summer vacation officially begins, our students and families are looking forward to many wonderful events. Summer activities provide valuable experiences in which children learn about themselves and the world around them. Your child’s life can be enriched through reading and journal writing. Please make sure that your child’s day includes time that is set aside for independent reading. Reading is a “sport” with a 12-month season, so please ensure that your child makes it to “practice” every day.
Looking ahead, please mark your calendar with these important dates:
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15 6:30- 8:00 pm Back to School Ice Cream Social. Come to meet your teacher, drop off supplies, and say hello to catch up with friends!

TUESDAY, AUGUST 21 (or WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 22 FOR 3 DAY STUDENTS) First day of school for Pre-K and Kindergarten
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Pope Francis Global Academy, thank you for an exceptional year together as we supported students in their growth and learning. We wish you a summer full of wonderful memories, time to recharge and safe travels.
"Good, better, best; never let it rest.
'Til your good is better, and your better is best."

FINAL FACTS PAYMENTS DUE for this year
If you have an outstanding balance for the year, please be sure to pay that ASAP. It is an Archdiocesan policy that students may NOT begin the school year at a Catholic school with a previous balance at any Catholic school, be it their own school or a former school.
In addition, if you are moving to a new school, student records and transcripts will not be released to the new school until all outstanding balances are paid in full. Contact Jerri Pabst with any questions. email@example.com.
JULY FACTS PAYMENTS
Just a reminder that all Book/Resource Fees and Fundraising Fees will be charged on your July FACTS bill. Tuition billing will go from August through May.
As the Fundraising Fee ($400 per family with one or more full day students, or $200 for any family with only one half-day student) will be charged via FACTS on the July bill, raffle tickets will be available for pickup at each campus beginning July 15 in case you would like to get a jump start on selling them. Any tickets not picked up by the beginning of school on August 20 will be sent home in the first Thursday Folder of the year on August 23. Raffle drawings will begin on Wednesday, September 19 and will continue on the 3rd Wednesday of every month through April 15, 2019.
