Flu Season Reminders We have been fortunate to not experience many students coming down with the flu. This season’s strain is said to be particularly virulent; the teachers make sure that students are using tissues when necessary and washing their hands regularly while our maintenance staff ensures clean campuses. The CDC offers some preventive guidelines:
Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
While sick, limit contact with others as much as possible to keep from infecting them.
If you are sick with flu symptoms, CDC recommends that you stay home for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone except to get medical care or for other necessities. (Your fever should be gone for 24 hours without the use of a fever-reducing medicine.)
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
Wash your hands often with soap and water. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Germs spread this way.
Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that may be contaminated with germs like the flu.
If your child is exhibiting flu systems, please remember to allow fevers to pass for 24 hours before returning to school.

CONGRATS TO OUR TUITION RAFFLE WINNERS -
THE SENORSKI FAMILY!
During enrollment season last year we announced a tuition incentive...current families could earn a raffle ticket if they referred a family, if that family enrolled and stayed through Christmas, and remained in good standing. We had 8 NEW families brought in through referrals and so 8 referring families were entered into the raffle. Congratulations to the Senorskis who won!
For the upcoming school year, we are doing a straight referral incentive. For EACH family that you bring in...you refer them to the school, they enroll and list you as the family that referred them on their application, they stay through Christmas, and they remain in good standing...you will receive a $300 tuition credit on your January 2019 FACTS bill! There is no limit to the number of families you bring in and, for each one that meets all the criteria, you will earn a $300 tuition credit!
