“Time and tide wait for no man.” Geoffrey Chaucer

Report Card Issue
We received a number of inquiries regarding families not receiving their report cards last Friday. The problem is that those with an att.net or sgcglobal.net provider were being blocked by AT&T. Due to a software update by AT&T, the School Messenger email blast of report cards were blacklisted as spam. We are working with School Messenger to resolve this problem. Most families have now received their report cards. If you have not, please contact Sandy Czyz or Linda Garrett

Ask O’Rourke
Question: With a day being added because of snow day will this also affect 8th graders, and if so which day will be the last day of school for them, and when will graduation day be?

Answer: The last day of school for the 8th graders will remain Thursday, May 31 with graduation on Friday, June 1. The last day for preschool is Friday, June 1 and for Kindergarten, Tuesday, June 5. Grades 1 through 7 will have their last day Thursday, June 7. It will be an early release day at 11:30.

A Few Notes of Thanks
Special thanks to parents from both the North and South Campuses who brought in treats and hosted the hospitality for the 5-parish Community Lenten Mission at St. Pascal this past Monday. Also, a big thank you a little late to Maggie and Brian Rahlfs and team who hosted our second Trivinia Night of the year a couple weekends ago. Both events were very successful due to everyone chipping in to support the cause. Our parents are second to none and we truly appreciate everything they do to help get the job done...whatever the job may be!

MEET THE TEACHERS IS BACK!

Meet Mrs. Nancy Widlowski, one of our 1st grade teachers at the North Campus! Mrs. Widlowski loves teaching at PFGA! She is especially passionate about teaching children about God's love and Jesus' friendship.

She earned her BA in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology from National-Louis University. Prior to teaching Mrs. Widlowski worked at Xerox Corporation in the eighties and nineties. It wasn't until she taught religious education classes at her home parish that she realized her true calling. Through much prayer and the support of her family, she decided to make a career change and become a teacher. A change she is grateful for every day!

Mrs. Widlowski grew up in a suburb of Chicago with her parents and five siblings. She currently lives with her husband and two daughters just outside the city limits. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family traveling, camping, and going to musicals. One of the fascinating friends, Murphy, that she has met through her travels is pictured with her here!

Mrs. Widlowski truly appreciates the caring families and staff at PFGA.
